A SPARK OF AN IDEA
Over lunch with friends, we talked about the creative spaces back in our hometowns. Cultural centers, workshops, art expos—we missed it all.

Chatting with the charming Colombian owner of the café, we learned about the neighborhood's transformation, losing iconic spots to rising rents.
Surely, there were others like us, craving a space to connect, share, and break language barriers by expressing rather than explaining.
BRAINSTORMING
We turned into action—three architects and a graphic designer launched an art-centric meetup.
How could we help other to explore their feelings about the city, homeland, and neighborhoods in a graphic way? Drawing felt exclusive, so we opted for the playful, boundary-free realm of collages.

THE MEETING
Three weeks later, in that very café, we hosted a beautiful gathering. We invited via instagram and facebook, told our friends and they invited their friends, and together, we dove into storytelling through collages.

HOW WAS IT?
A two-hour collage reunion with music, food, and drinks, culminating in a cozy gathering where each artwork told a story. It felt like reconnecting with childhood pals. You could feel that the energy was perfect. Everyone was really excited about what they were doing and talking to others. Lots of them asked us if we already had planned a second meet up! It was one of my best Berlin experiences.

THE CARDS
To ease the fear of a blank canvas, I designed created card decks—images paired with inspiring texts, sparking thoughts and memories.

We meticulously placed them on the tables that we prepared with the materials and ambience.
